As promised, I’ve got a new Greasemonkey script that will display customized, up-to-date dollar values on your CBS fantasy league homepage. The effect is very similar to the Yahoo screenshots I posted earlier.
Now, whenever you generate dollar values with the Price Guide, you should see links to add the dollar values to your league:
![]()
The links are Greasemonkey scripts that are generated with your specific league parameters, so there’s no longer any need to edit the scripts yourself. If you have Greasemonkey installed, all you have to do is click the link and the prices should start showing up.
This is all still a work in progress, so there could still be a few quirks. Please let me know if you have any problems with it.

Excellent work!
I am not able to click the links? Help?
@Mike: What happens when you click the links?
I should note that the links in the post above are an image cleverly designed to entice people to try to click it; the real links show up on the Price Guide.
Mays,
I’m in two Yahoo leagues and they have different settings. Can I use this and have it customized for each league?
Yes!
The trick is to create two scripts, but set each of them up to only affect the Yahoo pages on one of the leagues:
Just generate a script for the first league. Then, in Greasemonkey, go to “Manage User Scripts.” You will want to change the “Included Pages” on the script from:
http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/*
to:
http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/12345/*
…where 12345 represents the ID for your Yahoo league. (It should be whatever numbers are at the end of your league URL.)
Then, enter your second league’s settings into the Price Guide, and generate another script. You’ll do the same steps above, but replace the 12345 with your second league ID.
Let me know if that doesn’t make sense.
Amazing application! One problem. I tried to follow your instructions in Comment #5 to generate different prices for different leagues. (I’m in 3 CBS leagues.) I was able to change the “included pages” after I did the first league, but when I generated the prices for my second league, that overwrote the script in greasemonkey, so I only had once script in there again. Help! (And thanks!!!)
@mulkowsky: Yep, I hadn’t noticed that before.
I’ve updated the script generator to create a unique namespace based on the Price Guide URL. I think it should allow you to do multiple leagues, now.
This is awesome! Thanks again, Mays
Hey..thanks for creating this site. We are using CBS sportsline for our league. I downloaded Greasemonkey and the script. Where do you find the prices? Thanks
@Aaron: Good catch; apparently I broke the scripts when I was making some speed enhancements a week or so ago.
I think they should be working, now. (I don’t think you’ll even have to mess with the script; just try out your CBS page.)
Let me know if you are still having problems.
Hmm. Just tried with 2010 projections on my CBS page and it didn’t work.
Mays…it works now (for me). Try hitting the refresh button mulkowsky.
Thx guys. It’s working now. Great stuff!

Love, love, LOVE the Price Guide!
But I can’t get the greasemonkey script to work in my Yahoo or CBS leagues.
I think I’m doing everything right, but the dollar values just never show up on those pages.
@bookiebob: Sorry about that! I think they should be working, now.
You will need to uninstall the scripts and download the new ones.
That is so beautiful! Yahoo, CBS, and ESPN all working now!
Very nice work!!
I input all my keepers into the price guide and my cbs league shows only the default prices. Is it supposed to put in the inflated prices or is there a way to do that?
