Also if anyone wants to try out the reliability scores on the Price Guide, just add "&rel=Y" to the end of the address when you build values. Only works for Marcel, though.

I just multiplied each player's adjusted total score by the reliability factor.

It would be nice for fantasy owners if Gordon had a lower reliability, but the truth is that he has established a very low level of play over an extended period. In a lot of cases, you're better off with the devil you don't know instead of the one that you do. :-)

Very interesting. I'm wondering how exactly you incorporated the reliability scores. Did you multiply the dollar value by the reliability? Or multiply everyone's stat lines?

One other thought I had was making reliability a separate category, although would be some problems with that.

Reliability is a weird thing though, because as I understand it, having a higher reliability isn't always a good thing. It's good for Johan Santana or David Wright to have a high reliability score, because that means the system is relatively sure that they will be superstar caliber players. Someone like Alex Gordon, though? Is it better for him to have a lower reliability score, since that would account for the possibility that he breaks out and has a monster season?
